Welcome to my first journal entry.
I hope that you will learn a little bit about me and my collection through my favorite pieces and the sights, sounds, places, practices and loved ones, all which have acted as inspiration for me since I launched the collection in 2019.
My collection is about designing meaningful jewelry—pieces that are symbolic, spiritual and sentimental in their influences and a balancing of universal motifs that touch each wearer on a personal level and speak to their individual style.
The collection is named after my late father Marcel, who taught me strength, compassion, and the passion to follow my dreams, the way he had, first as a furniture designer in Israel and then as an estate jeweler in the United States. He also instilled in me a love for art and travel which lead me to India where I took in all the vibrancy, the textures and nuances of the culture and also the practice of yoga. I have combined my affinity for mindful aspirations with tactile details and the spirit to encourage all who wear my jewelry to follow the light that shines within them.
One of my newest styles combines all of my influences into one must-have piece—a locket pendant. It is the anchor of my Intention Collection. Three-dimensional, it gives a nod to sacred geometry in it shape. Unlike most lockets which opens to hold a photo or a keepsake , I have designed ours to be unique and reveal a small intricately designed scroll on which you can inscribe you personal affirmations, prayers or deep thoughts, goals or dreams. For me, the hidden compartment in the locket necklace suggests where you might be at any moment in your life, or a feeling, a wish, an intention that you want to keep close to your heart.
It is endowed with even more significance, crafted in 18K yellow gold and dotted with brilliant diamonds for enduring love and tiny turquoise cabochons for luck. For each person who wears the locket it can have one or more different connotations. Whether you seek love, success, serenity, growth, resilience or strength, the Intention Locket serves as a constant companion a tangible representation of your journey.
